Duquesa de la Vall Criança
The elaboration of this wine begins with grapes with a degree of maturity apt for their subsequent aging in French oak barrels. It is a balanced crianza wine, aromatic and silky, with perfect equilibrium.
View
A clean wine, brilliant and pleasing to the eye. With intense coloring of the eye. Cherry red in colour with slight variation towards still cool tones (impacted blues), which denote its freshness and youth in spite of it being a crianza wine.
Smell
Of medium high aromatic intensity. In a still glass the mostly tertiary aromas of French barrel, vanillas, coconut and light roasts are highlighted. Nevertheless, the presence of mature fruit supporting the light predominance of a tertiary aroma are noted. In a swirled glass the aromas which appeared in a still glass are intensified, if anything the fruit aromas become more important, which makes the final ensemble more harmonious.
Tast
A well structured wine with a medium lengthed taste, which is a little hard due to his youth, although it is true that the tannins will evolve in an appropriate way in the coming months ensuring a very good conservation of the bottle. The balance in acidity and fruit is perfect and the retronasal is a little intense but very smoothing.
